CENTERBURG — John M. Campbell, 67, of Centerburg, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 at Country View of Sunbury. In his words, “all ahead full,” as he looked forward to Heaven.

He was born in Cincinnati on Nov. 12, 1944, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked 40 years in the maintenance department at Battelle.

John was survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 47 years, Judy (Tornes); sons, John (Kris) Campbell of Centerburg and Brian Campbell (Dan Kelly) of Delaware; and mother, Alberta (Burcham) Campbell of Ellenton, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Campbell.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. with a 4:30 prayer service at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, 9633 E. Ohio 37, Sunbury, with Rev. David Sizemore celebrant.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. John Neumann Church building fund.
