UTICA — Theodore A. Farmer, 89, of Utica, died Jan. 16, 2012, at his residence.
He was born March 28, 1922, in Broken Bow, Neb., to the late Arthur and Louise (Wineman) Farmer.
Ted was a retired veterinarian, teacher and farmer. He graduated from Broken Bow High School and received his veterinarian degree from Colorado State University. Ted was a Navy Air Corps World War II veteran.
He is survived by his son, Mike Farmer of Utica; grandchildren, Jayson Talbott Farmer, Cody Talbott Farmer and Lorrie Morgan Talbott Farmer; brother, Garland (Margaret) Farmer of Beaverton, Ore.; sisters, Eugenia (Duane) Vannice of Lincoln, Neb., Frances (Glenn) Govier of Grand Island, Neb., Florence Pichler of Adrian, Mich.; former daughter-in-law, Mary T. Farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise G. Farmer, who passed away Oct. 25, 2010; brothers, George Farmer and James Farmer; sister, Virginia Cline.
Calling hours will be Saturday, Jan. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.
