BUTLER — Wanda Mae Freeman, 81, of Butler, died Jan. 19, 2012.

She was born April 18, 1930, in Delaware, to Vaughn A. and Nellie E. (Wallace) Parmer.

She married Bernard A. Freeman Aug. 22, 1948.

Wanda is survived by three sons, Rick (Darla) Freeman, Brent (Debbie) Freeman, and Scott (Margaret) Freeman; 38 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Connie Stooksbury.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant great-grandson, Lee Jordan Freeman; two brothers, Bob and Bud Parmer; and two sisters, Clara Gale and Bettie Webb.

Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Clear Fork Alliance Church, 1008 State Route 97, Bellville. Burial will follow in North Liberty Cemetery.
