MOUNT VERNON — Freda M. “Sis” Schaade, 60, of Mount Vernon, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Freda was born Dec. 16, 1951, in Newark to William S. Thomas and Freda M. (Barnett) Stevey. She attended Christ the King Community Church near Fredericktown.
Surviving are her husband, Michael L. Schaade I; her sons, Michael L. (Tera Kuhel) Schaade II and Bradley Schaade; daughters, Brenda (Rick) Tuberville, Barbara (Jim) Yoder and Tamara Schaade; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Freda M. (Barnett) Stevey; brothers, William Thomas Jr., Fred Carnahan and Edward Carnahan; and sisters, Joyce Snell, Pamela Baldwin, Nancy Carnahan and Brenda Linebaugh.
Freda was preceded in death by her father, William S. Thomas Sr.; stepfather, Frederick Carnahan; and a daughter, Ramona Schaade.
Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. at Christ the King Community Church, 15598 McClelland Road, Fredericktown, with the Rev. Dr. Lucian Baker officiating.
