MOUNT VERNON — Charlotte L. White, 84, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Canton, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012.

She was born Nov. 4, 1927, in Canton, to the late Charles and Thusnelda Prince. Charlotte graduated from Timken High School in 1945. She was a member of Central Church of Christ at Mount Vernon, and was a former member of First Christian Church of Canton.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; two sisters, Marjorie Whisler and Lola Hague.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Jefferson (Pat) White of Columbus; a daughter, Teresa (Kenneth) Farnham of Mount Vernon; two grandchildren, Amy (Joshua) Walton and William (Michelle) Farnham; sister, Janet Risher of Navarre.

A calling hour will be held Friday, Feb. 3, in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel from 11 a.m. to noon, with funeral services to follow at noon. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
