LEXINGTON — William “Bill” Atkins, 55, of Lexington, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at home.
Bill was born Sept. 2, 1956, in Mansfield, the son of James and Pauline (Lemons) Atkins. He graduated from Lexington High School. On Nov. 3, 1979, he married Michelle O’Brien.
Bill is survived by his wife, Michelle Atkins; daughter, Dawn (Rob) Kamen; grandchildren, Ian and Ivy Kamen; nephew, Jesse Atkins; and niece, Julie Atkins; sister-in-law, Debbie Wagenhals; brothers-in-law, John (Kim) O’Brien and Peter O’Brien; along with numerous extended family.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Atkins; and brother-in-law, John Wagenhals.
Visiting hours are Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 7 pm. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
