MOUNT VERNON — Katrinka S. Ketter, 64, of Mount Vernon, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012.

She was born Nov. 28, 1947, in Mount Vernon, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Kathryn (Miller) Ketter.

Katrinka was a member of the South Vernon United Methodist Church and worked for ODOT.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Mark Moreland; her son, Bryan Tice of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Richard (Jan) Ketter of Chandler, Ariz. and Rodney (Shirley) Ketter of Howard; a stepdaughter, Tina (Mike) Huggins of Mount Vernon; step granddaughter, Jessica Huggins; and several nieces and nephews.

Katrinka was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Paul and Robert Ketter.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the funeral arrangements for the Ketter family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knox County Humane Society, 400 Columbus Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
