HOMER — A funeral service for Marie B. Yoakam, 92, of Homer, will be held Thursday, March 1, at 10 a.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marvin Haught officiating. Burial will follow in Homer Cemetery.

Marie died Feb. 26, 2012, at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon. She was born Feb. 17, 1920, in Licking County to the late Marshall W. and Hale (Farmer) Dunlop. Marie was a member of Highwater Congregational Church UCC and was co-owner with her husband, Leland, for over 30 years of Yoakam Antiques. She loved her friends and visiting with them.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia M. Yoakam of Homer, who adored her mother and will treasure her forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland A. Yoakam, who passed away in April 1997; stepmother, Esther Dunlap; and sister, Wanda L. Stevens.

Friends may call Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica. Visit to extend condolences to the family.
