GREENSBORO, N.C. — Martha Biggs, 90, of Greensboro, N.C., died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at Heartland Living Center in Greensboro.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 17, at noon at First Christian Church, 1900 W. Market St., Greensboro, N.C., with the Rev. Lee Hull Moses officiating. Burial will be in Grove Church Cemetery, Gambier, at a later date.
Mrs. Biggs was born Dec. 12, 1921, in Newark, to Herbert and Sara (Borroway) Woolard. She was married to the late John D. Biggs. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Davis.
Mrs. Biggs is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Don) Moehring of Greensboro; son, Brad (Margaret) Biggs of Wellington, Fla.; sisters, Carol Woolard of Greensboro, Evelyn Rowley of Niceville, Fla., and Dorothy (Dick) Motz of Loudonville; grandchildren, Mitchell (Rebekah) Moehring of Durham, N.C., Megan Moehring of Richmond, Va., Cameron Biggs of Wellington, Fla.; great-grandson, Leo Moehring of Durham, N.C.
