GALION — James H. “Jimmie” Estep, 61, of Galion, died March 21, 2012, in his home having “fought the good fight” against terminal brain cancer.
He was born July 14, 1950, in Galion, the son of Chester and Dixie (Duncan) Estep. Jimmie worked as a welder, and in maintenance for Carter Machine. He was a member of AMVETS 243, the VFW Post 4329 in Galion.
Survived by mother, Dixie Irwin; daughter, Brandy Lynn (Roger) Willis; three grandchildren; siblings, Ann (Red) Williams, Eva (Jeff) Harden, Ben Estep, Martin (Karen) Estep, Floyd Estep; numerous nieces, nephews.
Predeceased are father; two infant sisters, Joan Marie and Allie Kay.
Friends may call Friday, 4-7 p.m., Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Elder Buddy Donald Walters will officiate. Burial in Shauck Cemetery.
