SUNBURY — Darwin W. “Bud” Cantrell, 73, of Sunbury, died March 24, 2012, at his residence.

He was born April 10, 1938, in Sunbury to the late Ersell “Red” and Charlotte L. (Newell) Cantrell. He was a Big Walnut High School graduate and a Sunbury/Galena area resident most of his life. He was a retired milkman in Gahanna, for Meadow Gold Dairy in Westerville.

He is survived by sons, Mark (Carla) of Johnstown, Steve (Sonja) of Centerburg; daughter, Vicki (Kenny) Cantrell Ballenger of Ashley; six grandchildren; brothers, Dennis G. (Catherine) Cantrell of Marengo, Larry D. (Mary Jean) Cantrell of Sunbury, David Cantrell of Florida.

Preceded in death by son, Greg; sisters, Janice Cantrell, Sharon White.

Friends may call Wednesday, 5-8 p.m., DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where service will be Thursday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mike Bean officiating. Interment in the Sunbury Memorial Park.
