HOWARD — Mary Lee Kirk, 69, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012, at the Ohio State University Medical Center after suffering a stroke Sunday morning.

She was born Feb. 2, 1943, in Danville, to Rodney and Mary Faith (Colopy) Ridgway. She was a full-time Realtor for 34 years, and was a member of Knox County and state of Ohio Board of Realtors, including former president of Knox County. She was also Multiple Million Dollar Producer and received many achievement awards.

She is survived by her son, Tim (Jane) Kirk of Charlotte, N.C., and her granddaughter, Chloe; siblings, Rebecca (Ron) Lock of Tollesboro, Ky., William (Mary) Ridgway of Howard, Thomas (Diane) Ridgway of Danville, Marcia (Lonnie) Lepley of Howard, Marilyn Roberts of Fredericktown, Steven (Sandy) Ridgway of Galena, Marie (Tim) Blubaugh of Howard and Lisa (Jim) Blaisdell of Howard.

She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Cynthia; a brother, Joseph; a niece, Tiffany Ridgway; and a nephew, Christopher Harstine.

Calling hours will be Thursday, March 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Cremation will follow, and a memorial service will be held Friday March 30, at 11 a.m. at the Danville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mary Murtha will officiate. Interment will follow in Workman Cemetery.
