MOUNT VERNON — Rosetta G. “Rosie” Sagle-Deavers, 60, of Mount Vernon passed away Monday, March 26, 2012, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born April 10, 1951, in Henrietta, W.Va., daughter of the late Judd and Mildred Marie (Sidwell) Carder.

Rosetta is survived by her husband, Donald L. Deavers, whom she married May 5, 1997; sons, Charles Lee Roy (Alicia) Sagle of Howard and Donald Deavers of Dayton; a daughter, Deborah (Brad) Mills of Mount Vernon; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephews, Dennis and Donald Carder; a brother, Roy Gray Carder of Mount Vernon; and a sister, Ruby Gene (Eddie) Hayden of Parkersburg, W.Va.

In addition to her parents, Rosetta was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Otha Sagle Sr.; a son, Thomas Otha Sagle Jr.; a daughter, Billie Melissa Sagle; and a brother, Robert Guy Carder.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, where a funeral service will be held Friday, March 30, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Robert L. Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
