MOUNT VERNON — Florence Patricia “Pat” Crawford, 87, of Mount Vernon, died Monday, April 2, 2012, at her residence.

Pat was born Sept. 17, 1924, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to Alfred and Florence (Bolderston) Reid. She had been employed at the former Conley’s Store in Mount Vernon and the former Glass Gardens Greenhouse in Mount Vernon.

Pat loved her family, gardening, and working at the greenhouse.

Surviving are her son, Paul (Rose) Crawford of Seville; her daughter, Karen (Kenny) Wilson of Sunbury; grandchildren, Michael Crawford, Bryant Crawford, Derek Frey, Matthew Frey and Atoni Wilson; and two great grandchildren, Brayden Crawford and Alex Crawford.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Crawford in 1993; granddaughters Tricia Lynn Frey and Skylar Wilson; and her sister Dorothy McGookin.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mound View Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin Haught officiating.
