MOUNT VERNON — Kimberly Ann Snow, 40, of Vincent Road, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born March 2, 1972, in Mount Vernon to Edwin and Helen (Priest) Sobers. She was a 1990 graduate of Riverdale High School in Fort Myers, Fla. She loved spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She also loved writing poetry, shopping, especially at yard sales and for antiques, scrapbooking, and she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Dale Snow of Mount Vernon, whom she married July 29, 1996. Also surviving are her son, Jordan (Liz) Snow of Mount Vernon; two grandchildren, Holden and Hallie Snow; her mother, Helen Sobers of Mount Vernon; eight siblings, Diane Sullivan of St. Pete Beach, Fla., David (Lori) Sobers of Westminster, S.C., Linda (Dick) Lester of College Station, Texas, Rick (Sandy) Sobers of Mount Vernon, Kathy (Gene) Sechrest of East Rochester, Cheryl (Rich) Stockdale of Newark, Debbie (Chuck) Guisinger of Newark and Bonnie (Bud) Beeco of Fredericktown; 10 nieces; eight nephews; several aunts and uncles; her mother- and father-in-law, Merle and Janet (Busenburg) Snow of Mount Vernon; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews on the Snow side of her family; and also her special companions, Hershey and Coco.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Sobers; stepfather, Roger Ingraham; and her grandparents.

Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
