MILLERSBURG — Sarah I. King, 82, of Millersburg died Tuesday evening, April 3, 2012, at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, following a short illness.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor Burnetta Armour officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
She was born Oct. 12, 1929, in Clark, Ohio, and was the daughter of Floyd E. and Bertha (Kaser) Booth. On June 19, 1948, she married Glen D. King, and he preceded her in death Feb. 7, 2009. Sarah was a 1948 graduate of Warsaw High School. She worked for Pomerene Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Millersburg First Presbyterian Church, and the Millersburg American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a sister, Francis Cross of Coshocton; many nieces and nephews; and a dog, Miss Abby.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Earl Booth and Roy Booth; and four sisters, Dorothy Carter, Betty Kirker, Wilma Hennequant and Shirley Sapp.
