CHILLICOTHE — Karen J. Liston Ritchie, 58, of Chillicothe, died 7:30 a.m., April 9, 2012, following a battle with Muscular Dystrophy.

She was born Feb. 24, 1954, in Elmira, N.Y., to the late Walden W. and Virginia D. Eddy Liston. Mrs. Ritchie was a graduate of Utica High School, an avid Ohio State fan and loved her dogs.

On March 1, 2003, she married Kenneth L. Ritchie Jr., who survives. Also surviving are her children, Shelly (Denny) Robinson of Utica and Kimberly McCullough of Pleasantville; three stepchildren, Sarah (Shane) McClaflin, Jonathan (Winona) Ritchie and Christine (Keegan) Gelly; three grandchildren, Hailey, Ashden and Riannan Robinson; eight stepgrandchildren; a sister, Gretchen (Tom) Harris, of Magnolia, Texas; two brothers, Tim (Elaine) Liston of Merritt Island, Fla., and Mike (fiancee Carol Mooney) Liston of Gambier; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Liston; and a nephew, Scott Harris.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
