GAMBIER — Rose N. Wolfe, 86, of Gambier, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born March 2, 1926, in Mount Vernon, and was the daughter of the late Henry Cleveland Lahmon and Della Fay (Pipes) Lahmon. Rose was a member of the Gambier Pythian Sisters, Pleasant Grange, TOPS and a longtime member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church and UMW.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Beverly Lahmon of Mount Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn M. Wolfe, in 2004; sisters, Blanche Breece, Sue House; and a brother, Stanley Lahmon.

Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home, 212 N. Main St., Mount Vernon, and one hour prior to services on Friday. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
