NORWALK — M. Virginia Seif, 94, of Norwalk, Ohio, and formerly from Fredericktown, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 9, 2012, at the Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 7, 1918, in Morrow County, Ohio, to the late William and Cora (Jones) Kehrwecker. Virginia was a member of the Pythian Sisters for more than 60 years and was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Fredericktown. She enjoyed flower gardening, feeding the birds, doing crossword puzzles, and playing cards, as well as knitting and crocheting. She made more than 100 baby sweater sets for the Sweater Angels at Fisher Titus Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn (Robert) Caldwell and Wilma Lepore, both of Norwalk; grandson and step-granddaughter, Paul and Lorraine (Caldwell) Burt of Sharpsburg, Ga.; granddaughter, Janet (Burt) (Jake) Ballard of Collins; stepgranddaughter, LouAnn (Caldwell) (Mark) Wiegand of Oberlin; stepgrandson, Rob (Gerry) Caldwell of Wellington; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. Seif; her brother, Kenneth Kehrwecker; and her two sisters, Leafa Golling and Grace Brackney.

Pythian services will be held at 1 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home. Friends may call Friday from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. John Burgess will officiate. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Forest Cemetery, Fredericktown.
