MANSFIELD — John David Phillips, 63, died April 12, 2012, in his home.
He was born Jan. 15, 1949, graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1967, and worked at Therm-O-Disc for 40 years.
Surviving are wife, Lynda (Sarianides) Phillips; children, Amy (Billy) Dyches and Justin (Shannon) Phillips, of Aiken, S.C., Beth (Mico) Castelvetere and Stach Popa of Mansfield, Jonah Popa of Ashland and Douglas Popa of Eugene, Ore; 10 grandchildren; father, Frank Wayne Phillips Jr. of Mount Vernon; sister, Vicki (Bob) Meredith of Mount Vernon; brother, Donald (Bonnie) Phillips of Mount Vernon; numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by mother, Barbara (Barton) Phillips; and brother, Larry Phillips.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. The Very Rev. Father Nelson Beaver officiating. Burial in Mansfield Memorial Park.
