WORTHINGTON — Donald L. Lawless, 88, of Worthington, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012.
Donald was a World War II Army combat veteran, worked for Clark and Mahlon Maxton Chevrolet and retired from Volkswagen of America. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church over 75 years; and New England Lodge 4 F&AM, 32nd Degree Masons, Valley of Columbus and Aladdin Shriners.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Raymond Lawless; and brother, Raymond Bernard Lawless.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marilyn; daughter, Susan of Mechanicsville, Va.; son, Jeff (Brooke) of Centerburg; daughter-like, Marilyn Gibbs; grandchildren, Crystal, Cody, Charlotte and Juliet; great-grandson, Brayden; sister, LaDonna (David) Wagstaff; nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. The Rev. David Bachelor will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Kobacker House of HomeReach Hospice, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, OH 43214 in his memory.
