BUTLER — Josephine Faye “Josie” Leech, 78, of Butler, died April 30, 2012,.

Josephine was born March 10, 1934, in Newville, to Brice and Pauline (Davis) Bemiller. On Dec. 1, 1956, she married Edward Leech. She worked for Tappan and as custodian for Clear Fork local schools.

Surviving are children, Ron Leech and Tammy Wild of Butler, Debra Kirkpatrick of Bellville; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Clarence “Bud” Bemiller of Ashland, Wilma “Honey” Brauchler of Florida, Dorothy Bittinger of Butler; brother-in-law, Jeff Shaffer of Bellville; nieces, nephews.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, Edward Leech; sisters, Lucy Morrison, Vivian Shaffer, Retha Lee; stepmother, Irene Wells Bemiller.

Visitation will be Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. Pastor Kenneth Kinley officiating. Burial in Bunkerhill Cemetery.
