MARENGO — Gertrude “Honey” Thompson, 75, died May 2, 2012, at St. Ann’s Hospital, Westerville.

She was born March 28, 1937, in Delbarton, W.Va., to the late Rev. Clarence C. and Etta (Canterbury) Stepp.

Surviving are husband, James H. Thompson; sons, James G. and Brad of Marengo, Wendell of Cardington, Paul of Sunbury; daughters, Anita Pruett and Kathy Miller of Marengo; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ezra Stepp of Groveport, Jerry Stepp of Columbus; sisters: Edna Miller of Cardington, Brenda Muncy of Columbus.

Preceded by daughter, Noretta Marshall; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Thompson; sisters, Sabra Maddock, Glenita Vance, Juanita Stepp.

Visitation is today, May 4, from 5-8 p.m. at the Devore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, where service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment in the Marengo Cemetery.
