FREDERICKTOWN — Lois J. Warner, 76, of Fredericktown, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Emeritus at HillenVale surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 5, 1936, in Mount Vernon, and was the daughter to the late Roy and Lucille (Carpenter) Hauger.

Lois was a member of the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, AMVETS Ladies’ Auxiliary and Women of the Moose.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita (John) McNeil; and her son, Michael (Tracey) Oswalt, both of Mount Vernon; three grandchildren, Stewart (Natalie) Oswalt, BeAnna Oswalt and Vanessa Oswalt; a sister, Betty Hawk; two great-grandchildren, Trey Whisner and Selah Eve Oswalt.

Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Loren Edgar Oswalt; second husband, Ronald L. Warner; and a brother, Robert Hauger.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Lois will be held Saturday, May 12, at 1 p.m. at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home, 212 N. Main St., Mount Vernon, with the Rev. David DiPietro officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
