DELAWARE — Darryl Browning, 74, of Delaware, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, in the Arbors of Delaware.

Darryl was born Feb. 8, 1938, in Crites, W.Va., the son of Roy and Dorothy (Tate) Browning. Darryl married Anna Fay Flynn on Dec. 17, 1965. Darryl served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Dixie.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Fay (Flynn) Browning; daughter, Stephanie (Chris) Adams; two grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family; special uncle and aunt, Willis and Nilene Browning.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Browning; and brothers, Lloyd, Junior and Curtis Browning.

Memorial services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home with visiting hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Pastor Dan Taylor will officiate and military honors will be performed by the Bellville American Legion Post 535.
