MOUNT VERNON — Joann L. Pattison, 77, a resident of Country Club Retirement Campus and formerly of Danville, died Wednesday, May 10, 2012, at the Knox Community Hospital.

She was born June 27, 1924, in Brandon to Frederick William and Nancy (Winland) Emlich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Pattison, in August 1993; a sister; Darlene; and a brother, Gerald.

Surviving are her son, Steve (Cathy) Pattison of Utica; a brother, Dr. William (Norma) Emlich of Centerburg; grandchildren, Tim and Mike Pattison of Brooklyn, N.Y., Trisha Pattison of Utica, John (Sherry) Pattison, Jeff (Heather) Pattison and Heather (Scott) Brown, all of Zanesville; a stepson, John (Connie) Pattison of Zanesville; and many other family members.

A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. The Rev. F. Richard Snoke will officiate. Interment will follow in Brandon Cemetery. Calling will be one hour prior to the service.
