BLADENSBURG — Paul W. Hanna, 96, of Bladensburg, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012, at his residence.

He was born April 24, 1916, in Carroll, Ohio, to the late Harley Jacob and Lillie A. (Poling) Hanna. Paul was a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by a sister, Laverne Hanson of Virginia; a brother, Ronald P. Hanna of Martinsville, Ind.; sisters-in-law, Joan Hanna and Eleanor Hanna-Rooker of Bladensburg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith B. and Harley J. Hanna; three sisters, Dorothy A. McClain, Ruth Brown and M. Gene Ramey.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Carroll Cemetery, with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Bladensburg is handling the funeral service for the Hanna family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s memory to the Bladensburg Volunteer Fire Department and Hospice of Knox County.
