SUNBURY — Frederick M. “Fred” Eames Jr., 90, of Sunbury, died May 16, 2012, at the Village of Westerville.

He was born Jan. 28, 1922, in Albany, N.Y., to the late Fred M. and Emma W. Eames, grew up in Albany, and lived in Sunbury for the last 23 years coming from Plano, Texas. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, graduate of Iowa State University, an electrical engineer, and worked in television and radio for 50 years.

Survived by son, J. Marshall (Angeles) Eames of Chicago; daughter, Leslie (David) Wolford of Sunbury; six grandchildren, Jennifer W. Dunham, Jessica W. Heinrich, Jaclyn C. Wolford, Luisa A., Briana E. and Anthony M. Eames.

Preceded by his wife of 52 years, Betty Adelaide (Kloth) Eames, July 28, 2001; brother Milo W. Eames.

Memorial service and inurnment will take place at a later date.

Arrangements in the care of Devore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury.
