TACOMA, Wash. — Carroll Edward Cosner of Tacoma, Wash., passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012, with his wife by his side.

He was born March 29, 1925. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed sharing his love for the outdoors with his wife and children not to mention his passion for fishing. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend.

He is survived by the love of his life, wife, Sarah McCloy Cosner of Tacoma, Wash.; children, Lynn Marchiano (Jeff) Flesner of Federal Way, Wash., Thomas (Michelle) Marchiano of Mentor, Joseph (Kathy) Marchiano of South Euclid, Marian (Jerry) White of Southlake, Texas, Samuel (Carol) Marchiano of Strongsville; his grandchildren, Marissa, Taylor, Joey, Madisynn, James, Colin, Alec, Coleton and Jacquelyne; sister, Barb (Dick) Lorey of Fredericktown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Minnie Cosner; and daughter, Connie Cosner.

He was laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Wash., with military honors on Thursday, May 17.
