GLENMONT — Donald Albert “Don” Kaiser, 81, of Glenmont, died peacefully at home on Sunday, May 20, 2012.

He was born May 29, 1930, in German Village to Herman and Lorena Kaiser. Don worked as a research scientist for Battelle Labs for 45 years. He is also fondly remembered as Scoutmaster of Troop 16 from 1971 to 1974.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Mary (Rick) Gaines; devoted sons, Joe (Suzanne) and Bill (Joyce); grandsons, Brian, Kevin, Patrick, Levi and Izak; sister, Jean Federer; sister-in-law, Barb Kaiser; and many caring nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda; and son, Ken.

A rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Columbus, Tuesday at 10 a.m. Wake to follow at The River Club at Confluence Park at 11:30 a.m.
