FREDERICKTOWN — Randall S. Tetrault, 56, of Fredericktown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 27, 2012, at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.

He was born Oct. 10, 1955, in North Island, Calif., to the late Leonard and Sibyl (Wallace) Tetrault. Randall was employed as a Material Handler for the Dana Corp. in Fredericktown. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, riding his motorcycle and was known for his magical touch cooking on the grill. He was a member of the American Legion Post 535 at Bellville. Randall was a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Lena (Mergel) Tetrault; three sons, David Shipley of Bellville, Steve Shipley of Fredericktown, Thomas (Stormie) Shipley of Urbana; his brother, Rod (Joy) Tetrault of San Diego, Calif.; and two sisters, LaWanna (Jack) McGaughey of Key Largo, Fla. and Pam (Ken) Butcher of Toledo, Wash.

Friends may call Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A service will follow at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Jerry Bell officiating. Burial, with military honors provided by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council, will be held in Ankneytown Cemetery.
