BELLVILLE — Medford “Med” Riddle, 88, died May 29, 2012, in Country Meadow Care Center.

He was born July 31, 1923, in Rowan County, Ky., to Arthur and Isa Mae (Perry) Riddle. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. Med worked for over 40 years in the enamel plant at Westinghouse, retiring in 1988.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane (Farst); daughter, Cindy Hemmerly; sons, Jim (Debbie) Riddle, Ric Riddle, Alan Riddle; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Loretta (Wilbur) Hockensmith of Mansfield, Glenna (Bill) Sesco, Leola Kauffman, Pauline (Ron) Ramsey; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Rick Lee Riddle.

Friends may call Saturday, 11 a.m. to noon, North Bend Church of the Brethren (formerly Clear Fork Valley Wesleyan Church at Four Corners), where the funeral service will follow at noon. Pastor Steve Kistler will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
