MOUNT VERNON — Peggy Anne Fisher Hunt, 72, of Fredericktown, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 10, 2012, following a long illness.

Peggy was born in Mount Gilead, to William Carter Fisher and Anna Belle Shade on Aug. 16, 1939. She attended Mount Gilead Schools graduating with the class of 1957.

Married to her loving husband of 55 years on June 7, 1957, Peggy made Fredericktown home for over 40 years raising four boys. She was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church and “Tots To Teens” OCCL mother’s club. She also bowled on the Coffee Cup League at Trio Lanes in Fredericktown. Mrs. Hunt was a member of Fredericktown Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Hunt was a licensed Realtor since 1988. She was a member of the NAR, OAR; Richland and Knox County Board of Realtors.

Her hobbies included photography and genealogy. She was a member of First Families of Morrow County and First Families of Ohio.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by her husband, Charles William Hunt; sons, Greg (Brenda) of Mansfield, Randy of Worthington, Jason (Jennifer) of Grove City and Joel of Galloway; grandchildren, Wendy Fannin of Sparta, Whitney Melford of Hamilton and Kortnee Hunt of Mansfield; sisters, Sue Muffley (Doug) of Mount Gilead and Judy Byers (Bob) of Lebanon; brothers, Jerry Badurina of Bellbrook and Mark Badurina of Hamilton; aunts, Betty Ritchey of Mount Gilead and Margie Lamb of Florida, Wanda Fisher of Cincinnati; uncle, Charles Hardin of Marysville; brother-in-law, Jim Hunt of Chesterville; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will celebrate the life of Mrs. Hunt with a private graveside service. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Peggy Hunt’s memory.
