UTICA — A funeral service for Edith B. Webster, 97, of Utica, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave., with Alan Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Edith died June 16, 2012, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. She was born July 19, 1914, in Knox County, Ohio, to the late Clarence O. and Grace (Bell) Farmer. Edith was a member Utica Church of Christ and Order of the Eastern Star, Glenwood Chapter. She graduated from Martinsburg High School and was the former owner of Utica Floral Co.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Beverly Webster, and daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Richard Tiebout, all of Utica; four grandchildren, Patty (Sean) Blake, Sherrie (Doug) Scarberry, Dave (Trish) Tiebout, Sandy (Tom) Wolfe; nine great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Freda Farmer of Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl W. Webster, who passed away Oct. 17, 1976; a granddaughter, Vicki Tiebout, great-grandson, Nicolas Tiebout; brother, Dwight Farmer.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave.
