UTICA — A funeral service for Wilma F. Evans, 79, of Utica, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave., with Alan Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Wilma died June 15, 2012, at Autumn Care Center, Newark. She was born Oct. 9, 1932, in Newark to the late G.E. and Martha (Porter) Hannahs. Wilma was a member of the Utica Church of Christ.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, William and Sandy Evans of Knoxville, Tenn., and John and Julie Evans of Naples, Fla.; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; eight great-stepgrandchildren; and three great-great-stepgrandchildren; brother- and sister-in-law, Rod and Sharon Hannahs of The Villages, Fla.; sister, Dixie Young of Newark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale B. Evans, who passed away Oct. 28, 1991, and two grandchildren.
