BLADENSBURG — Edna Rosetta “Rosie” Wilson, 92, of Bladensburg, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 24, 2012, at the Knox Community Hospital ER.

She was born Jan. 27, 1920, to Clarence and Bertha (Rine) Harris, and lived her life in the home where she was born. She was a lifetime member of the Bladensburg Church of Christ, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Union Grange.

Rosie is survived by a son, Bob (Josie) Davis; grandson, Jeffery; many nieces and nephews; sisters, Eileen (Frost) Porterfield of Newark and Lela Ewart of Mount Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth “Moe” Wilson; first husband, Dwight Davis; and a brother, Jeff Harris.

A thank you to all the relatives and friends who would stop to visit and the food they brought to them both.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bladensburg Church of Christ, with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Bladensburg Cemetery. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Bladensburg is handling the funeral arrangements for the Wilson family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bladensburg Church of Christ, Bladensburg Volunteer Fire Department or Bladensburg Cemetery Association.
