RICHWOOD — Virginia L. Green, 70, of Reeley Road, Richwood, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, at Centerburg Pointe in Centerburg. She was born Dec. 31, 1941, in Aberdeen, Md., to the late Robin and Gladys (Bare) Walker. Virginia worked for DCS in Newark. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Tammy Blamer) Green of Mount Vernon, Rick (Joyce) Green of Richwood, Bob (Rene) Green of Newark, Peg (Terry) Stevens of Fredericktown, Mary Durbin of Mount Vernon, Larry (Stephanie) Green of Utica, Keith (Casey) Green of Newark and Tammy Green of Richwood; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Kenneth (Jean) Walker of Kansas City, Kan.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Green; and a brother, Robert Walker.

Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown, where a service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Pastor Floyd Radabaugh will be officiating. Burial will follow in Green Valley Cemetery.
