UTICA — A funeral service for Bonnie Hughes of Utica will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Rocky Fork Church of Christ.

Bonnie was born Feb. 25, 1928, to the late Jesse and Velma (Kidd) Keller. She died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at the Selma Markowitz Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio.

Bonnie worked at Ohio Power for 17 years then stayed at home to raise her family with her husband, Ralph.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hughes; her brothers, Everett, Edward “Bud” and Jesse “Dale” Keller.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roderick (Belinda) Hughes; her grandchildren, Derek, Tucker and Julia Hughes; great-granddaughter, Ava, plus many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

Bonnie was a member of the Rocky Fork Church of Christ, loved to tend to her flowers, watch the Reds on TV and do jigsaw puzzles.

Friends may call at the church two hours prior to the service.
