MOUNT VERNON — Agnes Nadine Woodward, 97, of Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Country Club Nursing Home in Mount Vernon. She was born Sept. 12, 1914, in Mount Vernon, to the late Clarence and Mary Esther (Winterringer) Parker Sr. Agnes retired from the Shellmar Company in Mount Vernon and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

She is survived her daughter-in-law, Barbara (Richard) Woodward-Fawcett of Mount Vernon; three grandchildren, K-Linn “Kandie” (Eddie) Woodward-Read, Kimberly (Brad) Hastings and Thomas Woodward; six great-grandchildren, Jennifer Nutt, Holly O’Brien, Brandi Blank, Mitchell Hastings, Marshall Hastings and Natasha Mulligan; five great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Fawn) Parker of Danville and Clarence “Dudley” Parker Jr. of Mount Vernon.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Woodward; a son, Buddy Lee Woodward; a sister, Betty Beckholt; and a brother, Jessie Parker.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Mount Vernon. The Rev. Father Mark J. Hammond will officiate. The Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Agnes Nadine Woodward.
