MOUNT VERNON — William J. “Wild Bill” McLain, 61, of Follin Ave., Mount Vernon, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at his home. He was born May 11, 1951, in Cincinnati, to the late John and Grace (Mills) McLain. He was employed at Big Bear as a custodian. He was a good mechanic and enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together again. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his sister, Ann McLain of Cincinnati; and very special friends, Victoria Richards of Mount Vernon and Dee Brown of Centerburg.
Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, John McLain and his sister, Linda McLain.
