NEWARK — Julia May Beyer, 90, of McMillen Drive, Newark, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Kindred Health Care in Newark.
She was born July 27, 1922, in Delaware, to the late Willie and Lula (Feasel) Perry. Julia worked numerous years in the health care industry.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Gloria Irvine of Independence, Iowa; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul (Mary Ann) Perry of Mount Vernon; and a sister, Jean (Robert) Rosen of Loudonville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earnest Irvine; her second husband, George Beyer; two sons, Stanley Irvine and Syrl Irvine.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Mound View Cemetery. The Rev. Marvin Haught will officiate. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Julia May Beyer.
