FITZGERALD, Ga. — Nancy Jane Snider Senters, 72, of Fitzgerald, Ga., died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Ms. Senters was born Nov. 9, 1939, in Mount Vernon, to the late Paul and Eva (Craft) Snider. Ms. Snider attended the Mount Vernon Academy and was a member of the class of 1958. She was a homemaker and lived in the Fitzgerald community for over 20 years, coming from Orlando, Fla. She attended the Fitzgerald Church of God and was a member of the Cherokee Nation, where she was known as “Spirited Wind.”
She is survived by her partner, J.C. Brown of Fitzgerald, Ga.; children, David and Gail Wilson of Fitzgerald, Ga., Tina Marie Wilson of Hawthorne, Fla., Tanya Gribble, Larry Paul Grille, Sammy Brown and Warren J. Brown, all of Fitzgerald, Ga.; two grandchildren, Channell Fountain and Samantha Hayward; two great-grandchildren, Dashawn Rogers and Aaliyah Fountain; as well as four sisters, Marty May of Mount Vernon, Patricia Spires, Linda Copeland and Cynthia Wenderg; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, Ga., with the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
