HOWARD — Thomas L. Fullington, best known as “Papa,” of Howard, went home to his Lord and Savior on Sept. 15, 2012.

He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., on Oct. 15, 1944, son of Lyle and Betty Fullington of East Aurora, N.Y. He’s the brother of Sally Cienava (Stanley) of Oswego, N.Y., and Terry Fullington (Susie) of Salem, Ore.

Survived by wife, Isabelle; children, Jonathan Fullington (Shawna) and Bridgette Fullington (Stephen) of Durango, Colo., Angela Fullington (Josh Campos) of Howard and Tommy Fullington II of Columbus; stepchildren, Shelly Faes (Kelley) of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Michael Hauck of Smethport, Pa.; and his nieces and nephew.

He will be missed by all who called him “Papa”: Jesse and Madeline Studey, Logan and Dylon Fullington, Garry and Dakota “Turbo” Cooper, Brooklyn Fullington, Wynonna Hauck, and Kaylyn, Lauren and Joslyn Campos.

As an artist, Tom saw life as a canvas. Every interaction he had and everyone he touched was with a swift stroke of his brush and a vibrant mix of color. If you asked for the Moon, he would give you the Universe and never ask anything in return.

What he enjoyed the most was spending time with his grandbabies.

The world is still filled with many colors, but the sky is a little brighter with him up there. Tom would tell you to enjoy every second that you have and to never stop learning. He was a hopeless romantic, a wonderful father, Papa and husband. He was a hard working man.

“My Creator”

My God I pray,

There is no end,

To the love you have,

You made blood,

Flowing through me,

You control its stopping and going,

Everlasting servant,

Helpless,

Without you my Lord.

T.L. Fullington
