MOUNT VERNON — Francis Graham, 73, of Crestview Avenue, Mount Vernon, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon.
He was born Sept. 18, 1939, in Savannah, Ga., to the late Niles Swensen and Mildred Waters. He was employed as a sign painter for the U.S. Government from which he retired. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Wolford-Graham of Mount Vernon; his son, James (Theresa) Graham of Columbia, S.C.; his daughter, Tanya Trammell of Columbia, S.C.; five grandchildren, Brittany, Matthew, Cameron, Jesse and Jon; a great-granddaughter, Ashlynn; two stepsons, Michael (Roni) Wolford of Mount Vernon, Bill Wolford of Florida; two stepdaughters, Regina (Rob) Heagren of Mount Vernon, Laurie Sherrick of Mount Vernon; 10 stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private graveside service at a later date. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Francis Graham.
