OCALA, FLA. — Rhea Wolford Richmond, 91, of Ocala, Fla., and formerly of Fredericktown, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at the Sylvia House in Ocala. She was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Morrow County to the late Reuben and Ada (Bachelder) Kodger.

Rhea was a member of the Central Christian Church and the VFW Auxiliary Post 4209 both in Ocala. Rhea and her husband, Owen, shared the Valentine’s Day (2012) Queen and King honors at their retirement home in Florida.

She is survived by her husband, Owen Richmond; two sons, Doyle (Roberta) Wolford of Lake Placid, Fla., Donald (Ethel) Wolford of Havelock, N.C.; a daughter, Arlene Braman of Benson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Thomas Richmond and Tim Richmond.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Wolford; two grandchildren, Micah Wolford and Stephanie Dupee; a brother, Lloyd Kodger; five sisters, Ruth Carr, Helen Corwin, Doris Wagner, Florence Hershey and Marjorie Parsons.

A funeral service will held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 East College St., Fredericktown. Mr. Don Linn will be officiating. The Snyder Funeral Home of Fredericktown is honored to serve the family of Rhea Wolford Richmond.
