MOUNT VERNON — Florence Eileen Williams, 86, a resident of Autumn Health Care, and formerly of Danville, died Monday Oct. 1, 2012, at the Knox Community Hospital.

She was born, the youngest of 11 children, April 17, 1926, in Licking County, to the late Andrew and Jessie Belle (Helphery) McFarland. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed baking for her family.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Susan) Mizer and William (Arlene) Mizer, both of Danville; four daughters, Nancy (Carl) Pursel of Georgetown, Ky., Linda Winegardner of Mount Vernon, Carol (Wayne) Enderby of Georgetown, Tenn., and Pamela (Dan) Morris of Orrville; a stepson, Stanley (Anna Faye) Williams of Mount Vernon; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and some great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; her first husband, Robert Mizer, whom she married June 1, 1943; and her second husband, Carl M. Williams, whom she married Dec. 10, 1965.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Wesley Chapel Church on Chapel Road near Danville. Pastor Larry Houck will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery in Danville. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Visit
