GAHANNA — Beverly Ann Sharp, born in Gambier, has lived in Gahanna, Ohio for more than 50 years and seasonally in Palm City, Fla., for almost 25-years.
She passed away peacefully Wednesday Oct. 24, 2012, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Burdetta Dudgeon; her brother, Daryle; and her husband, Richard Sharp.
Beverly is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and (Kathi) Sharp; granddaughter Kara Sharp of Boca Raton, Fla.; brothers, Rodney (Becky) Dudgeon of Ocala Fla., Michael (MaryJo) Dudgeon of Florence, S.C., and Dan (Shirley) Dudgeon of Gambier; brother-in-law, James (Lana) Sharp; nieces and nephews, including Bill Sharp and their families.
Beverly was blessed with a happy marriage, family and friends who loved her dearly. The last 19 months have not been easy since losing her beloved husband of 58 years, Dick. This, coupled with declining health, clouded an otherwise blessed life. We thank the Lord for the wonderful family and friends that were there for Mom.
Let’s celebrate her life as we remember the twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes and how she enjoyed sharing a good laugh. Also, she always made the day a little brighter with a kind word and smile. She was independent, lead by example, and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will always be loved and remembered.
Private family services will be observed.
