MOUNT VERNON — Pauline M. Hunnicutt, 100, of Gambier Road, Mount Vernon, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon.
She was born Aug. 1, 1912, in Norwich, Ontario, Canada, to the late Fred and Pearl (Cramer) Wilton. Pauline worked as a registered nurse for several hospitals in New York City and New London, Conn. She attended the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church. Pauline enjoyed ballroom dancing and had an extended collection of Fred Astaire movies. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Richard) Jones of Mount Vernon; five grandchildren, Mark (RaJeanda) Jones, David Jones, Alison (Jonathan) Morris, Carey Hunnicutt, Amy Hunnicutt; and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hunnicutt; and a son, Myles Hunnicutt.
The family will observe a memorial service at a later date at the Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Pauline M. Hunnicutt.
