MOUNT VERNON — William A. Wasiluk Jr., 81, of Coshocton Avenue, Mount Vernon, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

He was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Brackenridge, Pa., to the late William and Mary (Duran) Wasiluk Sr. William was employed at Pittsburgh Plate Glass where he retired after 34 years of service. He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. William was a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by three sons, Joseph William Wasiluk of Virginia Beach, Va., John Joseph (Cathy) Wasiluk of Mount Vernon, James John (Jan) Wasiluk of Howard; seven grandchildren, Christina Wasiluk-Brown, Daniel Reber, Matthew Reber, Ashley, Taylor, Kacy and Sophie Wasiluk; five great-grandchildren, Conner, Thatcher and William Reber, Natalie Brown and Kenley Curran; his brother, Ronald (Grace) Wasiluk of South Carolina; and two sisters, Alice Wilcox of Florida and Betty Marsh of Missouri.

Besides his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Wasiluk.

There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private service at a later date.
