FREDERICKTOWN — Norma Jean (Jones) Howard Frazier, 82, of Fredericktown, died Tuesday Nov. 27, 2012, at her residence.
Norma Jean was born March 30, 1930, in Mount Vernon, to David E. and Inez (Kaiser) Jones.
She owned and operated the Beauty Nook in Chesterville for many years. She was a member and Past Worthy Matron of Evelyn Chapter 146 Order of Eastern Star, was a member and past president of the Morrow County Business and Professional Women’s Association, former member of Morrow County Board of Elections, served on the Board of Directors of Morrow County Red Cross and served on the Morrow County Jury Commission. Norma Jean was a member of the Harmony Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, R. Eugene Frazier; stepson, Philip E. Frazier of Fredericktown; stepdaughter, Diana (Mark) Morris of Cardington; granddaughter Nicole Morris; and great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Morris.
Besides her parents, Norma Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Carroll Howard; children, Mary Jean Howard, Brenda Howard and Jeffrey Howard; and brothers, John Jones, David Jones, Harry Jones, Virgil Jones, Raymond Jones and Aaron Jones; and sisters, Beatrice Waters and Mary Fritz.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 East College St., Fredericktown, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Jeannie Winters officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chesterville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or Harmony United Methodist Church.
